Shearson Lehman Hutton (now known as Smith Barney) in New York City and with
Gold & Bennett (now known as Gold Bennett Cera & Sidener), a San Francisco law
firm specializing in plaintiff class actions and other complex litigation.
Mr. Sherman has significant experience in the following industries: investment advisory;
managed money; securities; and technology.
A 1985 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mr. Sherman has a
degree in finance and a minor in economics. Mr. Sherman received his law degree from
the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, in 1988. In addition to
several district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Mr. Sherman
has been admitted to the bars of the following states: New Jersey (1988); New York
(1989); Florida (1989); and California (1993).
